I am a journalist, senior editor, and copywriter who sometimes works as an editorial strategist and brand consultant.

I’ve written for The Guardian, Observer, Independent, Sunday Times, ES Magazine, i-D Magazine, British Vogue, and many more publications. I've also worked as a commissioning editor at VICE, Refinery29 and Dazed Media, managing teams, growing readerships, and leading editorial campaigns.

As a creative copywriter, I have worked for a broad range of clients from tech startups to NGOs to household name brands. I’ve also chaired events and hosted interviews for brands like Mubi, MAC Cosmetics, and Instagram.

As well as on-camera experience for VICE, I have produced and hosted podcasts for VICE, Dazed x Gucci, and Penguin, and appeared as a commentator on ITV News, BBC Radio London, Woman's Hour, Front Row, The Guardian’s Today In Focus and Sky News.

My first book, 'Queer Intentions: A (Personal) Journey Through LGBTQ+ Culture' was published by Picador in May 2019. Munroe Bergdorf described it as “an intersectional and insightful journey through the nuances of the queer experience”. Owen Jones said: “This book will resonate with a new generation of queer people and all those who seek to be their allies – a brilliant book”. Queer Intentions is currently being developed for television.

My second book, 'We Can Do Better Than This' is a global anthology on LGBTQ+ rights and was published by Penguin (Vintage) in June 2021. It features contributions from Beth Ditto, Olly Alexander, Wolfgang Tillmans, Lady Phyll, Peppermint, JW Anderson, Juliet Jacques and more.

My third book, a novel, will be published with Atlantic Books in 2022.
